When I showed The Gryphon my new hat on Saturday, he said, "Oh! A Barbra Streisand hat! You know, from the '70s."
At first I didn't know quite how to take that, but he assured me it was a compliment, and the more I thought about it, the more I liked that comparison. After all, Barbra has always had great fashion sense. She takes risks, yes, but the result is usually fabulous. And she does love her hats.
Yeah, I think I'll take that as a compliment. Thanks!
Moral:
Hats are fab.
