We distributed press releases to the local radio and television stations.

 

In addition, we sent separate press releases to the local newspapers. The State College town newspaper, the Centre Daily Times, was sufficiently intrigued to actually write a short story, which ran on an inside page, near the bottom, probably next to an underwear ad.

 

The Collegian, however, just ran a small blurb the day of the event.
