March 2 , 2004 - Park Pictures

This past Saturday it was so beautiful that The Gryphon and I decided to take another romp in Ridley Creek Park with my doggie, Una. I took my digital camera along, in hopes we'd find something interesting. And we actually found several.

Good thing they had this sign posted. I was going to go ice skating.

The Gryphon pointed out that this piece of ice looked just like the United States.
Except that New England is trying to escape, of course.

I love this picture. It makes me happy. Look at this picture and you will be happy, too.

I posed in front of the balloon, which was posted on a mailbox to let
people know where to turn in for a child's birthday.
That is, in fact, a vintage wool poncho I'm wearing. Love it.
Una is interested in neither the poncho nor the balloon, but in fact,
the scent a previous dog left on the mailbox post.

The Gryphon and Una pause on the path to let me take this,
but Una is clearly anxious to see what scents are around the bend.

Moral:
There's fun things all around us if we but open our eyes... or noses.
