October 29, 2004 - Halloween Neighborhood

In honor of Halloween, a pictorial walk through my neighborhood to gaze at the decorating delights.

Bates Motel (Click to enlarge)    Una at Bates Motel (Click to enlarge)

We live closer to the Bates Motel than I'd ever realized. Una is not scared.

Una with monster (Click to enlarge)

Una laughs at your puny monsters.

Werewolf display (Click to enlarge)

Una sniffed this werewolf and was unimpressed.

Halloween fence (Click to enlarge)

This display scares away fashionistas.

Zombie victim (Click to enlarge)

It's rare to see a crime victim, even a zombie, tied up with crime scene tape. Zombies must be gaining dexterity. Or maybe the victim tied himself to a tree believing the zombies couldn't get him? Silly zombie!

Scary Halloween decorations (Click to enlarge)

This is the scariest one yet! Scary good. Yes, that's what I meant.

Moral:
Neighbors get spooky when it comes time for Halloween.
