October 13, 2006 - Found Brithday

Walking my dog, Una, last week, I found a birthday greeting that somebody had laboriously created with marker and white crayon. It was probably discarded as soon as they proofread it and discovered it read "Happy Brithday".

Folded up along with the failed birthday message was a minimalist scribble that might have just been a page for testing colors. In the top left corner is written, "The day", almost as if the scribbler named it after the fact. At least this time, it wasn't misspelled.

Moral:
If you're going to send someone a handmade greeting, be sure to proofread it.
