February 7, 2007 - Snow Flurries

We've had several small snow falls so far this year, just enough to dust the ground. Our first snowfall was on January 18, and it was so slight that it only stuck on certain surfaces and melted that same day.

We had a couple similar snowfalls between then and now, rarely lasting out the day. This morning, we awoke to a slightly thicker covering of snow, about one to two inches at most. Because it was so light, most people swept their sidewalks clear instead of shoveling them, which often led to some interesting sights, such as inverse footprints.

Moral:
You don't need much snow for interesting pictures.
