January 6, 2005 - Flower Power

For the last two days I've been incredibly busy, as I've been taking extra work made available by people taking vacations. Perhaps because of this, or perhaps because I made him smile when he was having a rough day, The Gryphon brought me flowers.

I normally photograph his flowers by daylight, but today I didn't have time until the sun had dropped below the horizon. The high contrast results with deep backgrounds are, I think, sort of dreamlike.
